fatboy Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 Hi i am getting stuttering ever since 2.5.6 I have deleted fxo and metashaders also i autoexe.cfg as recommended.I also did repairs as mentioned in the performance post.My system specs are 9700k ,nvidia 2080 ,installed on m.2nvme drive with 32 gig of Ram.I was briefly using VR rift s but have gone back to track ir and monitor as i didn't like VR quality.Any help would be great.As a last resort i will uninstall then reinstall.But that is a major headache so it's as said a last resort. Harker Posted March 23, 2020 Share Posted March 23, 2020 2.5.6 has been having some performance issues, I doubt it's an issue on your end. I suggest that you lower some settings and cap your framerate, to ensure a more or less stable experience. I'd also suggest that you take a look at some of the threads in this subforum, pretty much everyone has stuttering/low FPS issues since 2.5.6 rolled out. Finally, use a monitoring software (or even the Task Manager) to check out which component is saturated (I'm guessing the CPU). Apart from that, sit tight and wait for ED to introduce performance improvements/fixes. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.
