holyyy, are we getting something like this????

Yes.

"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

"The three most dangerous things in the world are a programmer with a soldering iron, a hardware type with a program patch and a user with an idea."

This is the cockpit that will be modelled:

AAF-A-29-Super-Tucano4.jpg

Avionics wise, the A-29B Super Tucano is a turboprop F-16 Block 52 without radar.

Nice!

Though being able to boresight AIM-120's would be great. ;)

But as far as I know it was never a thing (couldn't carry them), would be great in MP though! :D

Still, gotta stay realistic. Wasn't an exact F-16 block 52 with no radar and a turboprop, but it sure is the closest thing in the world to such a contraption. :)

*EDIT*

Just noticed you said avionics wise... Shame on me. :I

Will be an interesting experience sharing workloads. :)

For example when I am flying the AJS-37 with RB-04's I really feel like I could use another person to manage the targeting and ranging. While I focus on flying less than 10m to not get rekt by the modern SAM's on those ships. :D

The RB-15's though... They are god-mode (70km range!), but the RB-04 has it's charms. ;)

will it be multicrew??

I am from Spain, but Now I live in Brazil... last monday... all of a sudden I saw 7 tucanos (not supertucanos) flying in formation over my head...

I would prefer a Skyrider, but... this little bird can be really funny. For CAS and recon. Take into account that with new maps, the SAMs, wont shoot or engage you throuugh trees... so Low level can be safer.

Well its nice to see support for the module. Excuse me if I sound ignorant, but with the mfcds and their submodes and 2 cockpits will the development of the module be harder/more of a pain than say the M2K?

Yes. The M-2000C is an aircraft that was developed during the transition between analog to digital gauges/instruments. The A-29B is a fully digital instruments aircraft. The complexity is higher because all instruments are actually virtual ones displayed in a LCD screen.

  • 4 weeks later...
Well, what's happening with the A-29B, it's like a grave yard here.

I am sure once the AV-8B NA comes out we'll get some info, the devs are very busy right now...

Though I am very excited to get more info after!
