Stennis icon in mission editor

Recommended Posts

I just saw a video of the carrier where the entire deck of the stennis showed up on the mission editor, making it possible to easily place objects on the deck. Is this a mod or is it supposed to be available that way with the installation of the F/A 18C.

Thanks

Thanks! I saw that video too and was disappointed that it wasn't in my ME. Now it is. PERFECT!

Go to DCS World\MissionEditor and open the MissionEditor.lua

Un-comment the line towards the top that says "test_topdown_view_models = true"

It is already set at =true but still not working.

Idid post in another thread that I was having problems with ( editor ) but I have heard anything back, and repair is not fixing it. I have no mods installed. :(

Just to be clear,.you did delete the two -- in front of it? Thats what will "uncomment" it. Not trying to be insulting, just want to make sure we're on the same page

You need to remove the hyphens from the start of the line. They isolate the line and make it a remark and not a line of code.

For example:

---test_topdown_view_models = true

to

test_topdown_view_models = true

Use the precise syntax that currently exists in the file, as even losing a punctuation mark will wreck the code.
