problem with UI

 

at first huge thanks to the dev for creating this amazing tool , its spectacular and i play it everyday at least 3-6 missions.

 

but i have a problem which prevents me from playing , becuase the UI cant be resized and i have a lot o units types then i cant see the rest of the attack menu as shown on the window , and i even cant select some units or start the mission.

 

is there a workaround it or something??

Maybe NOT buy so many different types of aircraft per base?

 

Actually I'm being too smart for my own good and apologise!

Are these now inherited? as I myself now seem to have some russian aircraft in my selection.

 

Can you go to the base and SELL them?

 

Answer: yes. Go to the base, sell some stuff then gain some space :-)

They have added it when it got updated with the new version of pydcs. Though one of the devs is redoing the GUI that is HUGE improvement so it might be a bit before a new release is out. Not sure I have been away for awhile from the project.

 

I might be able to post up a stop gap in the meantime. But it would require modding the files on the install.

Hi There,

 

maybe I am doing something wrong but here's my list of thing that happen with the current version.

 

1) Started campaign on caucasus. Hornet spawned on Tarawa.

2) CAS mission: Although briefing is reporting APcs BTRs (read: Targets) etc. even if all units visible is enabled on F10 map they can't be found.

3) SEAD/STRIKE: same..

4) Cold start only works on a carrier (correct carrier is set in PG map)

5) Caucasus: trying to take off from Slugan results in planes starting mid-air (cold start was enabled)

Using 1.5.. In case I am missing something please point me to it.

 

Friendly aircraft are spawned correctly.

Everything was working fine for about 2 weeks and then suddenly it stopped spawning any client slots and I'm getting this error. I cleaned out every registry file I could find, wiped every trace of Liberation but it keeps doing the same thing. Extremely confusing

Abbility to SEAD

 

It would be nice to allow players to SEAD. Seem to not allow it for players even if a client slot is set.. Says AI only. As a group that simulates many mission types it would be useful..

 

 

Not a huge stress as we could likely just do it anyway ;) Help CAG Plan his missions :)

SA-3 and SA-10

 

I just downloaded this dynamic campaign and I really enjoyed playing with it. Excellent work.

 

I am feel like the SAM sites generated are a bit on the weak side, and I wonder if there is a way to generate more difficult SAMs such as the SA-3 and SA-10?

Me and a few friends are playing this and absolutely loving it. As far as I know, it's the only dynamic campaign that has actual progression, which really sets it apart for me.

 

I really hope development on this continues and new features are added.

As i had some fun with our squad in those campaign online, i wanted to give it a try for single player.

But the AI escort seems kind of useless. Please take a look in the attached tacview. Is there some error on my side? Did i miss a comm command that i have to give to make the escort actually protect my flight?

ok so I don't get the multiplayer thing..

 

I played last night with 4 of us, I figured out the first part of this campaign, buying stuff and setting up the mission.

 

Now that the mission is over, it says to reload something? go back into the change slot position and reload the mission??

 

Then grab the logfile and place it into the directory, I did all this but something is not right because it never detected anything from that file..

 

can someone possibly explain step by step after finishing a multiplayer mission?

Is there any way the modding process can be explained a bit more? I did some work editing unit types etc, but I'm having issues creating the actual zip file with the new custom version of liberation in it... I just want to mod the game for the cold war era / maybe WW2 if it works.
