MFG Crosswind - Review

I see an accidental drop of _INSERT-any-heavy-item-here_ onto the MFGs again and again and again. When they *finally* break, you can tell you wife "what an idiot I am. I can't believe I dropped that damn thing on my beloved pedals...."

Just replace with graphites and in the unlikely event she notices, look very disappointed and say it's a defect in the paint. My wife is watching me type this and she say's this is 'well sneaky'....

They must have a pretty decent resell value, so why not appeal to wife's logic: Cost for new pedals minus resell value of old pedals equals happy husband. :smartass:

I just ordered and paid Milan for the pedals on wednesday but i havent got any e-mail that the pedals have been shipped, or is there any confirmation message at all? I wish i would get these for christmas!

I made my payment on Dec 14th. Awaiting my ship confirmation. No doubt they'll probably come in after Christmas, (with me being in the US).

But really looking forward to flying with them! (Timing is everything. the dollar to euro is pretty good). :thumbup:

I got mine not long ago - there were a couple of days between payment and shipping confirmation. I think 4 or 5 days.

Well i paid via Paypal and its been 4 days and no confirmation...Wonder if Milan sends packages on weekends? I just sent him email and asked when he will ship those pedals. Im not very patient man.

EDIT: Just received email from Milan and he said he will ship them tomorrow :)

Woot! got my shipper info today. Most likely will reach me after Xmas. Looking forward to flying with 'em!

Just thought I would mention, I have been running mine for 1 year now - received them just before Christmas of last year.

I think I love them even more now , so smooth and rock solid, and not a glitch. Have them tuned where I like them for me, and really could not imagine flying without them. I can't imagine I will ever be searching for a replacement.

12 mths on.. the time has 'flown by' but if you recall I ordered mine shortly after you got yours - still going strong and very pleased I took your advice! (Happy Christmas)

Got mine shortly after Milan started making them available. Been so long and they have been so great at just simply doing their job, that I've almost forgotten about just how good they are. If they DO have a lifespan, I'll probably be one of the first to find out as old as mine are. But I will not hesitate one second purchasing a replacement from Milan.

I am actually a bit jealous because that first time you try them out is an amazing experience. After a while you tend to forget how much better they are than whatever you were using before.

I still have my Saitek Combat pedals on a shelf in my sim room. I can't even imagine trying to use them now.

I presume my Saitek Combat Pedals shall follow a similar path. ;) Actually, they may go to the "backup" rig I have in the computer room, along side the X52. :)

Fingers crossed Santa brings them before Xmas, but highly doubt it. (As of now, they're currently in Paris clearing customers before coming home).

I don't think Santa can help speed that one up. However, it occurs to me that he gets to Paris before the US, so you never know. ;)

Well this is a bummer. I had mine shipped to my best friends house as I did not think I would receive them until after Christmas. I checked the shipping info last night an they were in New York, checked this morning and the are OUT FOR DELIVERY. The bad part I'm leaving this morning and I will not get to see them until next year.

The Problem was, after i updated my order "Color = graphit" i Forget to enter the correct Country ... i live in Germany and i left in the order Document "United States" :)

I already received the PayPal invoice (for US adress) but iam pretty sure that i cant use it because of other TAX ++.

Now iam waiting 2 Days for a answer from Milan regarding "adress Change + Need new PayPal invoice"

But it seems like, my mails are ending in his SPAM Folder :(

It is Christmas time so I'm sure it'll take a bit longer. I've NEVER ever had an issue with communication with Milan.

Shipped on monday and now they are at Unna (Germany). I just can wait to get my hands (or should i say my feet?) on these pedals. Cant wait to use them with my new hotas Warthog!
