Default How many wings must be broken ...

I could have stated that this had been the only incidence ever during this competition ... but ...

Speaking only for myself, I estimate the amount of crashed Hawks during this awesome competition to approximately ... hm ... many.
No air force on this planet could ever place so many aircraft for my disposal.

I love the Hawk for its flying characteristics, but I didn't spent one single minute in being nice to the aircraft (and obstacles and trees as well).
Seems I'm a really bad boy. Oh yea.

haha well she is built to be thrown around, as most trainers are.

I've had a busy month with some military contracts and a lot of travel so I didn't even get a chance to fly the Hawk in the loop.

When I design the next course I'll definitely throw my hat in the ring for a time entry slot.

And I'm seeing Jav tomorrow so we'll talk through his low level fast nav ex multiplayer mission.

Default To the winners ...

After having time for looking at some videos, let me use a minute.

My congratulations to Chicomick for his fantastic 1st place flight.
You deserve it really, your performance looks well-thought.

I wasn't that much innovative during the first period of the competition, and I hung a little behind.
To be honest, when I started the competition, I had the idea that I will win it for sure

Also my best wishes to Radek and to dudeman17 for their great performance!

Comparing the lines now is an interesting thing. Despite that we all are really far away from the "intermediate" cones, what really counts are the towers, and that's it. Someone has to focus on them, the rest is free for personal optimization, which in my opinion is funniest part of this kind of competition.

I really like the video, thanks for taking the time producing this!
For me the music selection for the flight is a great one. It has the clarity in sound which makes a connection of how to fly ... clean and without any wobbling around. But it also has a great synthesizer, which generates the noise which the aircraft is going to produce when flying 550 KIAS.
The beats give this flight a real push, might be very motivating when flying ...

Very cool thing.
Additionally, the choice for Ennio ... couldn't be better. I love his music.
This feels like an airshow after party ...

Forgive me if I am repeating a question already brought up, but was there not a "Mach Loop" map that had been mentioned in the future road map from a third party Dev?

Yes we were looking at doing the map but until we get comprehensive map tools from ED all map work is on hold.

Mick, Radek and Dudeman, you're prize module keys have been sent to ED to take from my account and bind to yours.

Well done again for the top 3 slots and for Sydost, FunkyFranky and TOViper (for organising the comp) enjoy the P-40F along with Mick, Radek and Dudeman when it's released.

Congrats also to everyone that entered and I'm looking forward to the next competition.

Cheers,
Chris.
