Backy 51
Belsimtek Devs or F-5E Users, I have searched through the F-5 docs folder and searched for GBU-12 procedures and read the JTAC GBU-12 delivery example. Can an A-10C buddy laze for my GBU-12 drop in multiplayer? Where can I find documentation for the laser codes fields in the mission editor settings for the F-5? I see three data entries for laser codes listed, but see no reference to these data fields in the F-5 documentation. Cheers, I don't need no stinkin' GPS! El Bastardo
Can an A-10C buddy laze for my GBU-12 drop in multiplayer? Yes, they can. Provided both laser codes match and the bomb is dropped where it can spot the laser and has enough energy and time to guide itself onto the target. Where can I find documentation for the laser codes fields in the mission editor settings for the F-5? No idea if there's any documentation. The entries in the ME change the corresponding digit, marked by an x, in the laser code. The first digit cannot be changed, 1x11 changes the second digit, 11x1 changes the third digit and 111x changes the last digit. Example (Laser code 1246): You can also change the laser code and more from the Kneeboard. I don't know if you can change it midflight or only on the ground, I haven't tried it yet.

Backy 51
Ah, that makes sense in the ME then. I presume 0-9 are valid digits for laser codes input for x then? Thanks for the info gents! I don't need no stinkin' GPS! (except for PGMs :D) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Frederf
In general x1 is 0,1 x2 is 1-6 x3 is 1-8 x4 is 1-8 Particular weapons and designators might be a limited subset, e.g. first digit must be 1.
