not in my clan

but we could probably meet or simply creat our server for a game or 2

It would probably have to be on weekend because of the time zone or you would have to go to bed very late. I could leave work at 16h if you wanna try during weekday

I am -5 (Eastern time)

There are enough free servers. If I have time, then I will try it there. I also think it is stable now. I am happy, too.

Thanks Ray for your support. Please send me any bug you find. We work at the CDU. That's just very complex. Then there is only a new lua - file.

Hi,

First off, thank you for your contribution to the DCS community! I have a few questions regarding your software.

1) I see in the config file a screen resolution, what does it do?

2) In the ikarus file, is it possible to scale all items to a different screen format eg. from 1920x1080 to 1280x800?

3) In the future do you plan to also do DDI/MFD extraction?

Context: I am using my tablet via network as input for my UFC and DDIs. However, the screen ratio is different from the default F18C ikarus file. Furthermore, it would be nice to get the menu names (at lease) next to the DDI's buttons (extraction).

Thx!

To 1. and 2. This is the standard resolution of our offered cockpits. But you can even confrigurise smaller cockpits yourself. The size of the instruments and switches can be increased or decreased.

To 3. I have ever thought about something else to write. This would only work if this application captured the area of the screen where the MFC is displayed by DCS. But there is nothing planned at the moment.

But it would be possible.

Let me rephrase the question: is there a way to resize and move an accessory without having to do so for every switch/lamp part of that accessory?

Thx!

It is always about the first, performance. So no. This is only comfort. Sorry.

Our goal is, of course, not to influence the simulation.

Hi,

I have serious performance issue on Ikarus.

More specifically, refresh rate of instruments are really low, thus cannot readable.

The response of switches are also poor.

I have no performance issue on DCS itself. It runs smoothly regardless of Ikarus.

I just followed the installation instructions, so no modification on export scripts or Ikarus.

Download, extract, copy&paste "Scripts" folder, launch Ikarus and DCS. Just like that.

I will really appreciate any advice on this problem. Thank you for reading.

There is really a very strong difference between the game and Ikarus.

Please change the ExportScript in the Config.lua file of the following two files.

-- Other
ExportScript.Config.ExportInterval = 0.05 -- export evry 0.05 secounds
ExportScript.Config.ExportLowTickInterval = 0.5 -- export evry 0.5 secounds

to

-- Other
ExportScript.Config.ExportInterval = 0.005 -- export evry 0.05 secounds
ExportScript.Config.ExportLowTickInterval = 0.05 -- export evry 0.5 secounds

And test it again!

How many frames do you have in DCS?

Hi, McMicha.

Thank you for advice.

I've tested the behavior after changing the lines as you instructed.

However, nothing was changed. Instruments are still lagged.

DCS is running at almost 60fps w/ Vsync ON.

I thought the display driver is causing the trouble, so re-installed the latest WHQL Geforce Driver.

It didn't solve the issue, though.
