Damage model

I know that DCS are working on a more complex damage model. Is it partly in test in beta?

The reason I ask is that I made a mess of a landing in my FW190 on Sunday and ripped a wing off. I don’t think I’d ever seen wing damage in that style before.

Any thoughts?

Just wishful thinking?

It's being internally tested, IIRC a recent newsletter. Not Beta yet.

The new dammage model is in internal testing, but is not yet available in the public versions.

DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!

A big element also getting a lot of attention has been the new damage model we discussed in an earlier newsletter. We’ve been using the Spitfire as the test bed and the progress has been steady and good. Once we’re happy with the results, we’ll first incorporate the new damage model system into the other warbirds.
