USA_Recon
I am having an issue where I select and lock a target. However, I have to still use the rudder to align the piper. I'm getting lots of bounciness - I have all 4 stabilizers on - is it suppose to be bouncing all over with just a slight touch of rudder ??
flanker0ne
My first advice is to not use the altitude hold for rocket use. And the second is to activate the Flight Director, which inhibit all the AP channel to a more basic duty like No Altitude and Direction interference while firing. The last is check the curve/smoothness of your axis. nessuno0505
If you deal with vikhr, you always have to use a bit of rudder to align the circle with the locked target. Sometimes, if you have all 4 stabilizers on and shoot from a hover, you could have to lower or raise a bit your altitude to have a perfect alignment. What do you mean with "bounciness"? With comon PC pedals (I use TFRP pedals) you must be very subtle, but I can fly the huey and ka-50 is a lot easier to fly... maybe a problem with your hardware? I can't hit anything using rockets... too difficult to aim precisely. Edited August 31, 2018 by nessuno0505
rinao0o
turn on flight directer mode, the single blue button to the right of the 4 ap channels. That will stop the aircraft from trying to turn to your last commanded attitude and speed. And only try to buffer out some unwanted oscillations
