I was on the Instructors seat and had to Land for refueling so i (Backseat) ordered fuel from the Ground crew which worked just fine. After refueling my friend in the front seat told me that he has only 200 kg fuel indicated by his gauge whilst mine showed 680 kg. So we tested out and after his gauge was showing empty the Engine stopped for him whilst for me (in Control of the Plane) everything was normal exept that the Albatros we where sitting in does not reach top speed and lose some speed faster (more drag). Later we realised that the emergency generator did get deployed. Oh and she flies soo gently nice.... still love it.
