I was in Groom and the weather was totally IMC (snow storm) and it was really hard to find the runway and do a take-off.... very realistic!

Land from the South, and take off to the north of Nellis. I get between 5 - 7 fps when taxiing out

to the south end for take-off.

Is there a setting that can be dialed down in the interim?

You could use 'Groom', in north of map as base of operations, and steer clear of Las Vegas.

Would be nice if ED give us TCN and ILS for it. Maybe they will, since there's only 2 strips on the map :smilewink:

My frames are down over the city but not so bad as to be unplayable. I had an unfortunate accident today when I crashed into the Mandalay while sightseeing though. Oops!!!

I'd like to see Groom get fleshed out a bit, for sure, but would LOVE it if Creech/

Indian Springs got a re-fit, as I've flown out of there a few times IRL...

But u got a core I7!!

Any way, we cant have it both ways, All that eye candy comes at a cost. If I wanna tour Las Vegas, ill do it in FSX. For A10, what I need is enough scenery to give me a good sensation of flying, and targets. But if i turn on my tgp or mav, and it turns to a slide show, then its no fun, no matter how pretty outside is.
