Captain Orso
Why does DCS insist on hanging these horrendous hexadecimal tags on input devices, and is there any way to get DCS to stop doing that? Insonia
that is Device Class GUID {UUID/GUID} https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universally_unique_identifier You can find the device GUID via windows device manager as well. A unique class/tag to identify each device. Avoid the confict. Otherwise if you have mutiple same device you wont know which is which.
Captain Orso
Thanks for your answer Insonia, I understand what the purpose of UUID is, but I have never had more than 1 TM Joystick HOTAS or 1 TM Throttle HOTAS attached at a time. Is there any way to get rid of the UUID being appended to the Device name string? They only make the whole thing unsightly and over long for no advantage at all. Insonia
you can adjust the column size. Move cursor to the title row. Edited May 18, 2018 by Insonia
