Bloodhound57
What a great video today by Wags. Truly a game changer. Just had couple of questions. Will you be able to hear other flights talking with Marshall for their altitude assignments? Are there different radio frequencies for Marshall, Approach, and Tower? Thanks! ____________________________________________________ PC: ASROCK Z370 Gaming K6 | Intel i7 8700K | GeForce 2080TI | 32GB GeSkill 3200 RAM | GeForce 2080TI | 500GB Samsung 850 EVO M.2 | 1TB Samsung 860 EVO M.2 ____________________________________________________ FLIGHT STUFF: Rift S | Warthog Base | Virpil Base | Hornet Grip | A-10 Grip | Cougar Grip | Virpil F-14 Grip | Cougar MFD's | A-10C UFC | Saitek Flight Panels | MFG Crosswind Rudder Pedals
oldcrusty
I gather the final version will have weather brief at Marshal check-in. I noticed at 6k Wags had some tail wind (winds aloft?) Seems like the wind at approach altitude was 2, 3 knots? I hope the boat's skipper will "send" the wind up against FB. I'm fired up for this "Carrier Module"! Edit: Sorry for a hijack... was so anxious to comment, lol Edited June 16, 2019 by Gripes323
TomCatMucDe
today you can hear others talking to the ATC and to the carrier if you are tuned on the same radio frequency. Surely, you will be able to do it with the new carrier module as well.

Yurgon
To hijack the threat once more ;), the Carrier callsign in the video was Courage. According to a document I found, that was used by CV 66 USS America, which was a Kitty Hawk class carrier and has long been decommissioned (well, sunk, actually). Is there also a Nimitz class carrier that used "Courage"? Trying to figure out if Wags is throwing us some hints which carrier the new module will be, or if he's trying to throw us completely off track. ;)
jojyrocks
Hope you guys also introduce some dialogues like with Jester on the F-14. What I am inferring to is...The similar dialogues and comments on our Landing from the LSO. It would be a motivation to perfect that landing. Kenan
I'm actually more interested in the carried module/comms/animated crew than in the F-16C Module (which I pre-purchased). sirrah
They'll probably do the same thing the AI always does when it gets confused. Which is crashing into solid objects or impacting the water. :P Hence my question :D I'm kinda afraid it's a bridge too far to expect smart AI aircraft carrier operations, given the current state AI is in.
