Devrim
Hi. Thanks for updating User Files page. I have three humble suggestions for you. I'd appreciate it if you'd find them worth to evaluate. 1) We used to able to change size of Summary and Description windows. They had a little boxes at lower-right corner. Now it's gone. Could we get it back, please? 2) Now, when I edit one of my files, I see html tags everywhere in the text (<br /> and other tags like <a class= or href= etc.). It's not big deal tho, but could be a problematic for most users. 3) Wouldn't it be nice to put the aircraft names in an alphabetical order, in "Units" pull-down menu? Thank you. Dev. gabuzomeu
also, when you update one of your files, all statistics and comments are lost, while they used to persist. Would be good to return to previous situation. Details: Asus Z-170E, Intel i5-6600K @ 4.2GHz, 16GB RAM MSI GTX970 Gaming 4G Win 10 Home
Devrim
Ouch! I've just realized what you said Gabu. I updated Viggen Cockpit mod and all stats and messages are gone! Is that intentional? Actually, although this pissed me off a little bit, at the same time I've found it reasonable. Anyway... The main issue is still there. HTML tags. When we edit a page, we see HTML tags in the text and if you add or erase something and UPDATE it, HTML tags will double and so and so... Please. Fix this. Thanks. Devrim
Hi again. Just found that: Can't turn the comments page. It says "Page 1 2" but clicking on "2" won't work. For example: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/722567/ Try to switch to 2nd comment page. Frag
YES I noticed this, which is quite a pain. I opened a new thread here, https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=221438 but the current one is probably in a more relevant zone. If anyone from Eagle Dynamics read this, please fix this thing. Having a community doing mods for the game is what makes the game popular. To be honest, editing files already in the "User file" section is SUCH a pain that I avoid doing updates ... dealing with that <BR> thing, losing comments and trying to use the editor is really a mess. Don't let your modder down guys ...
wolle
Has there been any word on these <br/> things that appear in the User Files section. wolle
If using Firefox try this: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=228060 Regards, Ian. I'm using regular Microsoft edge. But I vaguely remember that I once used either Chrome or Firefox for a short time when there was a problem with Edge, but soon switched to Edge again. Must be a left-over problem from when I once used the other browsers. Is there a way to delete those <br/> in Edge? Devrim
New bugs force us to find new solutions. I copy whole text before editing or modifying the page. I select all, delete and paste the text from buffer, and apply updates. Annoying... The most annoying and sad thing is that no any person in charge or a webmaster pay attention to us.
