Mission 7 bug

Hey, found another bug, in mission 7 Abkhazian Mig-21 crashes into mountain while trailing those L-39 which results in mission failure.

Thanks for the report - did it happen only once or is it a recurring issue? We will see what we can do about the AI behaviour.

Please try again. Be sure you do not use time acceleration as this can exacerbate AI issues.

I tested this .miz very recently and had no problems, this is hopefully a fluke.

Happened twice, both times without time acceleration. Since the Mig is following L-39s at around 400 km/h it does not have enough airspeed to climb over that mountain.

Thanks for the report, this must be a 1.5.8 thing as he had no problems clearing the mountain prior to this in the probably one hundred plus times I've run the mission...I will replace his follow behavior with something else and submit a new version ASAP.

Updated version of M7 submitted to ED; I ran this 5 times with some different behavior programmed for the MiG-21. On one occasion I had two of the L-39s crash into the mountain during attack runs, but it was after weapon release was authorized so it won't impede campaign progress should it occur again. I can't control what exactly the AI does once ordered to attack so not much else can be done to avoid that.

The MiG-21 was fine on all 5 test runs with his new behavior. This should be included with the next patch. :thumbup:
