Newbee question

Recommended Posts

I’m wanting to load up dcs world 2.5 on my backup laptop since it will be easier to physically move since it’s not connected to everything like my primary dcs machine.

My question is I’m going to use this for testing purposes for multiplayer and or missions.

If understand correctly the server is require to own the additional aircraft mods just the player needs it on their side is the same true for terrain maps?

That way I can build complete missions on it save to an assessable location for both machines if it’s a single player mission if not I’ll just run it from the server for map missions.

You are good to start, You just need a differnt account with the maps that you want to play, no Aircraft Modules is required to run a server. You can Add any modules you want to your mission without any problem.
