Raven (Elysian Angel)
Oh this was nice! Thanks for sharing! This reminded me of my own childhood dream of becoming a fighter pilot. Sadly, back problems prevented me from pursuing that dream, but at least now I have flight sims and my motorcycle ;-) Spoiler Ryzen 9 5900X | 64GB G.Skill TridentZ 3600 | Gigabyte RX6900XT | ASUS ROG Strix X570-E GAMING | Samsung 990Pro 2TB + 960Pro 1TB NMVe | HP Reverb G2 Pro Flight Trainer Puma | VIRPIL MT-50CM2+3 base / CM2 x2 grip with 200 mm S-curve extension + CM3 throttle + CP2/3 + FSSB R3L + VPC Rotor TCS Plus base with SharKa-50 grip mounted on Monstertech MFC-1 | TPR rudder pedals OpenXR | PD 1.0 | 100% render resolution | DCS "HIGH" preset

Emmy
Do some Google-ing on the story of Jay Consalvi. I think you'll be amazed... He's now a full-fledged Warbird pilot and Reno racer... Lucas_From_Hell
SVTONY, don't fly the F-5 like you fly other fighters. Generally speaking using both ailerons and elevators together is like flying through mud, so keep the wings clean and combine rudder+elevator to point the nose where you need it to go. If the bastard is insistent, add some opposite aileron to pull a high-G roll and make that overshoot happen.

bonesvf103
That documentary is classic. I have the DVD, got it when it came out. Jay's story is amazing...his callsign was Faceshot because when he was younger he actually got shot in the face. He survived it, and went on to being one of the last Tomcat pilots. I knew the RIO Faceshot had in the Iraq segment. Over the years though, Demo and I have lost touch. It would be nice to reconnect with him again, or Mango, who was his pilot for many years. v6, boNes "Also, I would prefer a back seater over the extra gas any day.
