Are you implying that noobies should join blue and the more experienced guys join red, alongside the 104th? Doesn't make sense if you are looking to have a competitive fight from both sides. Or maybe, I'm just missing the point?

yes mate, you are missing the point. flying on the red side is much more demanding, as you fly with 16 aircraft against 44 aircraft. this time actually it is 26 aircraft vs 132 aircraft with the 3 lives rule. the aggressor side is thus usually invite only for squadrons with plenty of experience. however this time we would like to have lone wolfs on our wing, to give them that thrilling experience. but if you are a new player, it won't be a pleasent experience if you can't keep up. Likewise it doesn't serve the red side, as it will take quite some combined effort to stay alive this time over 4 hours and continue to deliver a good fight for the blue guys. ;-)

Most lonewolfs who fly in our events for longer should have enough experience though to keep up.

Thus again, if you feel you lack experience or you feel insecure about the decision, then please join blue.

EDIT: Also there are only few new players who join these events (we love it when they do, the sooner the better!!), so this is pointed only at few ppl. If your concern is that the blue side will be represented with "too little power" don't worry, as the squadrons will fly on blue as well and there are enough places for plenty of great pilots.

S!

PS: PLAYERS WHO HAVE NOT DONE SO, PLEASE ADD THE SIDE YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR, IF RED: WITH AIRCRAFT FOR BOTH SIDES. WE RESEVRE THE RIGHT TO REASSIGN YOU. THANK YOU!

Callsign: F99th - Ultraking

Plane: A-10C

Side: Blue

Nationality: USA

Squad: F99th

hey buddy, squadrons should pls just put down for example:

F99th x4

2x15, 1xViggen, 1xA10C for example.

you can put down more but can only replace after half time, if that aircraft is still alive, you can also switch slots, but in that case the player has to be alive that is being replaced, too. yould also inherit the lives he has left out of 3.

What're the chances you'll ever run these events using simple radio instead of Teamspeak?

I love these events but TS is just too difficult to organize the challengers on. Too many players who aren't used to (and don't want to) set up whisper lists.

Plus the immersion of SR is great!

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Since I see folks overlooking it, I might have been unclear in the OP:

SQUADRONS AND SQUADRON MEMBERS CAN SIGN UP FOR RED SIDE BUT LONE WOLFS WILL GET PRIORITY.

This time in particular is meant for LONE WOLFS.

All squadron members who signed red, your squadrons have been put down and will be invited to fly on red as a squadron, with more than 4 places in upcoming events.

Thank you for understanding!

- in case we do not get enough lone wolfs to fly on red, I will put you down on the red reserve list for now -

@Lone Wolfs: pls do not feel discouraged to fly on red. if you flew 2 or 3 events online, you should be fine!

Of course, mate - any time! I hope you join - if you didn't participate much in events yet - don't worry. It has to be the first time sometime, so jump right in!
