clayvt
I've googled this topic and have yet to come across an acceptable/IT know nothing answer. I get that port 10308 has to be open. Ive followed the instructions I found for my router, a netgear AC1000. I added a "new service" and clicked tcp/udp and added port 10308. for the IP I entered the internal IP address as the one shown in my IP config. When I use a port forwarding testing site it shows as closed and my buddy cant see the server. can someone in an explanation for someone who knows Jack-all about IT stuff walk through step by step? Mesha44
It looks like you have it configured correctly, did you check your windows firewall or other firewall to make sure it was also allowing the traffic through?
Paganus
Put it in the DMZ just long enough to test if the port is open. If it is still closed you know something else is blocking. If it shows open, something is most likely wrong with your router config.
