blueshark
I started dabbling in making my own missions and it got out of hand to where I ended up making a whole campaign, so here it is! You'll be flying for the air force of fictional South Kolcha, half of a post soviet country on the brink of war with their new neighbor North Kolcha. Both sides still use soviet sourced equipment but the south has recently upgraded some of their Migs with Mirages. Duties included: Interception, ground attack, CAP and escort missions. My aim was for easy-medium difficulty mission of around 30 minutes flying time, all mission are built to include the 8 minute INS calibration time. No in flight refuelling (since I'm rubbish at it I'm not going to ask any else to do it). Since this is my first foray into mission building I'm interested in some constructive feedback in how to improve this campaign and any future attempts. Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3303834/ Have fun! 12/4/19 1.1 update - Corrected numerous spelling and grammar mistakes in mission briefings - Mission 4 changed default load out, removed center tank and added Eclair pod. Mission started earlier in day for more of a 'dawn raid' setting - Mission 5 Convoy path shown in briefing. Added a long range SAM site to cover the convoy for added excitement. - Mission 6 started a little later in the day. - Mission 7 Changed Default load to include rockets + Eclair pod. - Mission 8 Removed 2nd flight of SU17's and added extra Migs to the Gudauta battle instead. Rudel_chw
I started dabbling in making my own missions and it got out of hand to where I ended up making a whole campaign The same happened to me .. I found Mission editing to be almost as much fun as flying the mission itself ... I truly enjoy it. I'd love to try your Campaign, but it will be a while since starting tomorrow I will be using the F-14 exclusively for quite some time :) ... but thanks a lot for sharing, I will save it for use when I get tired of the F-14 and want to return to something simpler :D Cheers. Chicki
Thanks for this campaign pal! I'm having a blast with it. Can't believe you are new to mission building!! Seems like you haven't gotten much response to this campaign. Hard to understand as missions are fantastic. I'm only up to mission four but having a fantastic time. Hope you keep it up. Baltic Dragon's got nothing on you pal(with all due respect). Thanks again.
