SCHOOL Posted March 12, 2019 Share Posted March 12, 2019 Well, I got tired of waiting on those "V..." manufacturers and decided to build my own throttle. This one is built like a tank! Loosely based on an F15 with added volume on the left throttle for additional switches. Mechanism is all welded and machined steel, levers are composite and the base is from Rennshape and aluminum. Still deciding on switch and rotary knob layout for the base and levers. I have a Leo Bodnar board on its way and plan to add the custom rudder pedals and harrier vectoring lever to the single board. SCHOOL Posted April 7, 2019 Author Share Posted April 7, 2019 More progress on the throttle. Finished wiring up the switches in the throttle handles and now need to wire up the Leo board. I also connected the pots to the levers and everything is ultra precision with no play. Still more switches and details to add to the rear panel.
