I have double checked kneeling all the way and I still can't launch. DD_Fenrir Posted February 20, 2020 Share Posted February 20, 2020 I got a launch from hot start on an MP server this eve, but had to mash 'U' a few times before it would connect me to the catapult (cat2), and whilst I got a launch, it did decide I was generating enough 'g' to black me out (!) till a fraction of a second before leaving the deck... which was novel! I also note that when spawning hot-start it now spawns me in with the aircraft knelt and the launch bar extended, even if the spawn point is on one of the elevator parking positions which is new too. I just did a campaign mission in the F-14. It still gave me an invalid error. I'm wondering/hoping if the speculation that DCS 3.0 will be a fresh start code wise. Otherwise my understanding is that the current version is recycling core code from LOMAC days (which is sort-of horrifying to think about from a development standpoint, (a 20 year old code base thats been incrementally maintained).
