Well done! At least you didn't get killed - though I think the aircraft is ready for the scrap heap!

3. Set the Engine Operate switch of the affected engine to MOTOR.
4. When the affected engine ITT is below 100C then move throttle from OFF to IDLE. [RALT + HOME]
5. Move the Engine Operate switch back to NORM.

The key command for Left Engine Off to IDLE is: RALT + HOME

Make sure your left throttle is actually in the OFF position: RALT + END

Please report back if you continue to have problems and we can investigate further.
The way to work is:

1st return EOS to norm, then restart the engine.

For the rocking hell you have add some weapons at the start.

At least its a simulation .

But i think, the whole aircraft wouldnt end on the scrap heap. Im sure, the handles for the ejection seat, are in best condition!

Thanks for all the tips here, loading sidewinders and mavs got rid of the uncontrollable oscillating in manual reversion mode.

However I'm confused about the procedure for Left generator failure. The instructor wants me to to enable crossfeed, then reset generator. But the checklist in the manual does not mention crossfeed. Just reset Gen and if that doesn't work turn on apu and apu Gen.

Hi out there in this very great world full of wonders and other things that only the A-10C WARTHOGA MPLIFIED CHECKLIST can discribe.

Search it in X:\YOURFAVORITORDERTOGETRIDOFEVERYTHIHNG\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\campaigns\A-10C - Basic Flight Training Qualification\Doc

There should be a magic file. In this you can find your searched PDF.

I am already using the amplified checklist.

Quote:
1. GENERATOR CONT circuit
breaker(s) – CHECK CLOSED
2. Failed generator switches
– OFF/RESET momentarily, then to
PWR
3. If generators will not reset after
3 attempts – Generator switches to
OFF/RESET
4. APU – START
(below 15,000 feet MSL)
5. APU generator switch - PWR
It doesn't say to hit the crossfeed switch switch. The instructor in the mission does.

The CROSSFEED switch is required for any generator failure as it can cause problems.

Page 581 in the DCS A-10C Flight Manual:

Quote:
GEN, L/R. Either the generators are set to OFF/RESET or there is a failure. Such a failure will also lead to the failure of the Main and Wing fuel boost pumps and SAS channels.
Corrective Action:
1. If above 10,000 ft AGL, set the Crossfeed switch to CROSSFEED
2. Reset the failed generator switch back to OFF/RESET and then back to PWR
3. If after three attempts the generator does not come back online:
a. Set the failed generator back to OFF/RESET
b. Start APU when below 15,000 ft MSL
c. Set APU generator switch to PWR
d. Land as soon as practical

In our amplified checklist the CROSSFEED switch is recommended for any Main or Wing fuel boost pump failures (so it's not included specifically with the gen failure checklist - similar to the actual A-10A flight manual).

Nice, thanks for the info I appreciate it. Just curious, do you know the reason why the crossfeed switch is only flipped above 10,000 ft? And is the issue with the ordnance loaded fixing oscillations a bug or intended?

Below 10,000 feet suction-feed will supply the engines, above this altitude engine operation may suffer.

With respect to the oscillation I believe it's a bug as it didn't behave that way originally.

You can see that in Recon Stewart's video:
