=DECOY=

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys,

As you have just seen the new cockpit has been released for the mirage, with it the new radio, ecm and nvgs.

We decided to get this out today rather than waiting for the next large update. We appreciate the feedback however I am making a HOW TO video right now for the NVG's for you :)

Sorry it was not ready but rather than waiting we desperately wanted to get this out to you guys and girls

Will post the video shortly

Curious as to what "Enabled new NVG’s with multi position interactions" means?

I believe the external model has been modified. There are some antennas I do not remember them.

Where is ECM counter?? how is work?

It was a (convenient) simplification of the system.

ECM development on Mirage 2000 was incremental.

Mirage 2000C S1 to S4 were delivered with RWR (SERVAL) and jammer (SABRE) but no internal decoy system.

So French Air Force creates in house ECLAIR pod with a separated command box. This is the box with the counter. It should have counted only the ECLAIR pod count.

Then SPIRALE (internal decoy system) has been added with LCI (flare launcher) and LPI (chaff), and the new box you see on the sun shield on the right.

Yes it’s more basic.

Mirage fanatic !

Where is that video?

"The natural function of the wing is to soar upwards and carry that which is heavy up to the place where dwells the race of gods.

More than any other thing that pertains to the body it partakes of the nature of the divine." — Plato, Phaedrus.
