I am just getting started with this module.

Thank you for sharing these really helpful checklists.

I cannot find a 'shutdown procedure' checklist anywhere

Have you come across one in your travels?

I know you are a stickler for detail...

Your 'after landing roll-out' checklist refers to 'un-pressurize the cockpit' - you show a pic and refer to switch 2

Chuck's guide (page 16), refers to this switch as 'canopy pressurization switch'

But, on page 40 he refers to 'Cockpit Air Supply & Pressurization Handle' (located on the RHS of the cockpit)

For the sake of completeness, which one shall we go with, canopy, cockpit, or both!

Back when I was compiling my notes, I'm pretty sure to have flown tested every step as I was learning the aircraft myself.

But the last time I flew The Farmer was several months ago, on July .. at that point I was upset with Razbam's lack of attention towards the plane, so I placed her back on the Hangar and havent flown her since ... so, truly I cant remember enough to be able to answer your question by memory with any degree of confidence.

So, I suggest that you try out the procedure the next time you fly the Farmer and check if the steps I wrote are correct or not, maybe there is a mistake on my part. If you do check, then please tell me the results.

Best regards,

Eduardo.

Appreciate your comments - Fair enough

I suppose real world pilots would have de-pressurised both the cockpit and the canopy before opening the canopy (for obvious reasons)

If I have any news, I will be back in touch :)
