Vino
Might be a stupid question, but where is push-to-talk button (radio tangent)? I understood that the button in the throttle is bomb pickle button... Edited April 28, 2018 by Vino
saburo_cz
"push-to-talk button" was "Otional" not madatory, according to TR manual (called there Press-to-Transmit Switch) it was additional pusch-button, i suppose like on the picture %5Bimg%5Dhttps%3A//i.imgur.com/UugMSTi.jpg[/img] and would be nice to have it in DCS Spitfire :) F-15E | F-14A/B P-51D | P-47D | Mosquito FB Mk VI |Spitfire | Fw 190D | Fw 190A | Bf 109K | WWII Assets Pack Normandy 2 | The Channel | Sinai | Syria | PG | NTTR | South Atlantic F/A-18 | F-86 | F-16C | A-10C | FC-3 | CA | SC |
Sokol1_br
In Mk.IXe radio the "Tush to Talk Button" is the lever on radio remote control box (above throttle quadrant). TR-1143 radio manual available on Web. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/6fUAAOSw4HNaXzxq/s-l1600.jpg The position T has spring to return to center an is used for PTT. The position R is lockable for use a remote PTT button - not fixed in this plane. In game is not possible operate this lever as "PTT" (e.g. click in then for momentary open the "microphone" = radio menu) because this remote control operation is "cut & past" from P-51 operation - plane that have PPT button on throttle lever, but Mk.IXe not, so is not possible radio operation follow the "manual". https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179406 But this is an small detail that for some reason went wrong - like the compass "Lubber Line" wrong fixed in Course Setter dial (movable) and not in compass bow (fixed), that don't worth spent effort in fix, after all who care about this? :)
