Jak525 Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 I notice you can take a SURV or F/F trackfile, which is not detected at all by your own radar, and PLID it. Is this really correct? Harker Posted July 18, 2019 Share Posted July 18, 2019 One of the points of PLID is exactly that. It allows you to classify targets without having to use your own sensors. For example, maybe you want to keep your radar silent until you're closer to the target or your IFF might be out etc. The vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs.
