The Landing Tips Paper is updated to Part Deux (revision 2) to address some of the questions that have come up.

I think that this will do for awhile...

Incredible information Victory! Thank you for the update!

How much time and effort do you think we should be putting towards practicing Case I at this time? You have mentioned that there will be tweaks to the FM and how the Tomcat handles in the landing configuration.

I remember the Hornet was the same way when it was first released...extremely difficult to get stable and on speed until they made changes to the FM and landing configuration stability.

I don't want to get used the Tomcat as it currently is and develop certain habits if it's FM will change soon.

I'm practicing with the current FM. Develop solid procedures and be disciplined, it will help as things get more refined. The changes won't be massive, and the numbers change anyway for configuration, weight, temp and wind.

Is anyone else finding it much easier to manage the throttles with boards in? I was trying it by-the-book with boards out all the way down, but I was having all sorts of problems. Decided to try leaving them in and now I'm consistently getting 2- and 3-wires.

Question: Are Case 1 and Case 3 traps differentiated or do they have equal weight on the squadron Greenie board.

Thanks,
Skyspin
