The point is, you cannot know. What works this week, might not work next week. ED is not going to take your mods into account. They are your problem. It's like trying to assess whether it's a good idea to have fire insurance for your house by watching it for 20 years. In those 20 years, with a little luck and due diligence, you may never have a fire. Going on that information, there would be no point of getting insurance. majapahit
.. do your due diligence and move on with your life. Omitting doing due diligence on whether DCS will clean out directories where users copy in extra kneeboard pages, where this deletion, rationally seems quite unlikely, because DCS can not have any utility in that, as in no rational thought whatsoever, is the best sales pitch since the creation of the 500USD toilet seat for the Pentagon. | VR goggles | Autopilot panel | Headtracker | TM HOTAS | G920 HOTAS | MS FFB 2 | Throttle Quadrants | 8600K | GTX 1080 | 64GB RAM| Win 10 x64 | Voicerecognition | 50" UHD TV monitor | 40" 1080p TV monitor | 2x 24" 1080p side monitors | 24" 1080p touchscreen |

jasonstory44
I guess I’ll saved it under wherever Kneeboard builder custom kneeboard default saves to. Hippo
The correct location is \Users\<USERNAME>\Saved Games\DCS<VERSION>\Kneeboard\C-101EB To remove (almost) all the crap* that's there by default, I delete \DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\Kneeboard\*.* \DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Nevada\Kneeboard\*.* \DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Normandy\Kneeboard\*.* \DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\KNEEBOARD\device\init.lua (other terrains are available) (after backing up). Also, it's all replaced following every update. Incredibly, it simply isn't possible to permanently save kneeboard bookmarks. The best I can suggest is that you request it in the Wish List forum. *sorry - imho. Is there a way to see where that defaults to or switch it to save under saved games if it defaults to the main game directory? Its some time since I used it, I usually just build by hand now, but the Options in the Kneeboard builder had entries for the game location and the kneeboard location which, I believe, defaults to C:\Users\[your name]\Saved Games I believe it then auto-installs to the appropriate \DCS[Openbeta]\Kneeboard\[aircraft] folder but you should read the latest manual to be found under Help in the app. klem 56 RAF 'Firebirds' ASUS ROG Strix Z390-F mobo, i7 8086A @ 5.0 GHz with Corsair H115i watercooling, Gigabyte 2080Ti GAMING OC 11Gb GPU , 32Gb DDR4 RAM, 500Gb and 256Gb SSD SATA III 6Gb/s + 2TB , Pimax 8k Plus VR, TM Warthog Throttle, TM F18 Grip on Virpil WarBRD base, Windows 10 Home 64bit

Ares63
Hi, is Kneeeboard builder already maintain? i found 2 bugs... - one is about Spitfire PIT is KB is run the spitfire doesn't have the COCKPIT you need to rebuild it - From last DCS update with Dynamic kneeboard some (not all) MIX in MP it take more than 5 minutes to go inside the PIT (FLY from Briefing) In this case you have to disable dynamic kneeboard and rebuild DCS...
