We are constantly striving to emulate the United States Air Force Thunderbird demonstration squadron in every aspect. From start up, to shut down, you will notice many of the similarities in Teamwork, Dedication, Integrity, and Precision of which the United States Air Force Thunderbirds perform. The Thunderbirds 1946 were founded in Febuary of 2017. Our demonstration consists of six, P51 Mustangs in which we will replicate the USAF Thunderbirds manuvers, high show or low show. We are a group that fly for the love of aviation and the Thunderbirds. We utilize the simulator, DCS World 1.5 & 2.0 with the Flaming Cliffs 3 extension to provide us a solid platform on which we can perform for you. We are not to be mistaken with the original virtual formation team, The Virtual Thunderbirds. We are an independent group striving towards the same goals. The U.S.A.F. Thunderbirds have never flown the P-51 Mustang thus making our team a fictional representation of the team. Interested in taking up the challenge?
