2 RADAR warning settings?

There is 1 BARO warning setting [HSI] but 2 RADAR warning settings [HSI & RADAR Altimeter]. Under what scenario would you want to set both RADAR warning settings?

For radar AGL warning, I just set the RADAR Altimeter warning and leave the HSI setting alone.

BARO I'm fine with.

Thank you.

I generally use HSI BARO for staying out of the range of some SAMs, SHORAD and MANPADS, HSI RADAR (usually at 5000) for letting me know I'm particularly low (to avoid AAA, small arms fire and avoid target fixation) and the radar altimeter knob setting lets me know that I'm going to crash very soon. The latter is also much easier to change on the fly.

Thanks...It sounds somewhat like a pilot arbitrary decision wasn't sure if there was a more formulated approach or not.
There might be. Couldn't tell you myself. I'm guessing that flights coordinate these floors based on mission parameters, expected air defense threats, assigned altitude blocks etc.

During a Case III carrier approach, I'll set the HSI BARO to my assigned stack altitude and HSI RADAR to 1200 ft for the approach.

Always has been, or at least it's been in for longer than I can remember. The only issue with it is that you can't enter a value with WonW, so you have to set it up while airborne. Normally, the HSI Radar value should reset to 0 when WonW is first detected and then be adjustable on the ground. In DCS, it appears that the reset command is sent continuously, as long as WonW is detected.
