Position light switch flashes "formation lights"

So there is some confusion here. Don't want to be a pain but we want the videos we make about the JF-17 module to be as accurate as possible.

The red and green lights on the wings flash when the position light is switched from steady to flash. Formation lights don't generally have that option so that probably needs looking into.

In aviation, position/navigation lights are red and green on the wings, white on the tail. Formation lights are usually luminescent strips on the edges of the wings and tails, or could be small white lights.

Can you take a look, pretty sure that something isn't correct or China/Pakistan have made an interesting departure from aviation standards..lol

Standard Position/Nav lighting-

from the doc, 4 lights (red/green) on wings are formation lights

2 red/green lights outside inlet are navigation lights

the one on tail is also navigation light

The lights also appear when you flip the anti collision light switch to the other option.
