IvanK
Looking at various loose translations of MIG29 and SU27 manuals it would appear that the HUD/MFD acquisition cursours are slightly different. this I guess to act as a reminder or cue to the pilot what sensor he is using. Can anyone confirm that the Radar Acquisition cursor is a Horizontally oriented rectangle (as we see in FC3) and the EOS is a vertically oriented rectangle. In the MIG29 images below (of MFD serving as a HUD repeater) the left MFD is I think showing the Radar Acquisition Cursor The right MFD is showing the EOS Acquisition cursour ? Boberro
So is it true? Visibility of image is really nice on those MFDs. Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D ಠ_ಠ ツ
