Backy 51
This link superseded by: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=225317 *** VERSION 1.2 PDF UPDATE POSTED 18July18 ... Greetings fellow DCS Pilots and Virtual Air Warriors, As we continue to enjoy our Marine F-18C Hornets and AV-8B Harriers, it's time again to brush up on those air navigation procedures. To assist you in that endeavor, I have uploaded an interim Comm/Nav Card for the newly released Persian Gulf Area of Operations. It is similar in design to the Nevada/NTTR Comm/Nav Card I uploaded several years ago and is loosely based on the inflight guide/flimsy pages I used and developed "in a previous life". ;) The Persian Gulf Comm/Nav Card Version 1.2 Update includes: - Airfield Name and ICAO Identifier - Runway Designators, Length, Elevation, and Magnetic Course data - Radial/DME fix for airfield location - CTAF information derived from the Mission Editor - ILS Approach Localizer, DME and Inbound Course data - ***NEW*** VOR, TACAN and Localizer frequencies (NDB frequencies are now included) - ***NEW*** TACAN Ident "KOC" changed to "KCK" for Lesser Tunb Island TACAN CH 89X. - ***NEW*** airfields OIKK (Kerman) and OISS (Shiraz Intl) added. - ***NEW*** NAVAIDS ALN, KER, RAV and SYZ added. We have a great community of past and present military and civilian aviators, aviation enthusiasts, and talented software developers. Without further ado … NTTR Comm/Nav Card: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/2738957/ Persian Gulf Comm/Nav Card: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300559/ Version 1.2 PDFs located at bottom of thread for those who can't wait until the weekend. NOTE: Version 1.2 Kneeboard Cards and Persian Gulf Navaids Chart will be updated this weekend. Place kneeboard JPGs in your C:\Users\Profile_Name\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard folder inside the aircraft of your choice. I'll continue to update these products through the Open Beta or as long as demand continues. Feedback welcome and differences between real world and sim world will be corrected upon notification if warranted. Enjoy! JLX
Thanks for this. Handy. I haven't d/l yet but the preview looks like it's in landscape. If so, perhaps you might consider a kneeboard friendly portrait version?
