I understand the A10's have their own unique as well B. You can name the group and unit whatever you choose, which is what players will see when they select the aircraft they want to fly, but radio traffic will always use the default callsigns. In a multiplayer environment where you have little or no interaction with the AI you will frequently see custom callsigns in use, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to call yourself "venom 1-1" when every AI you are on comms with is calling you "springfield."
