Spawned airframes you can join?

So I've just started trying to make my own missions and the idea is to have a simple mission where I can mess around with friends.

I thought it would be cool if you could have the client airframes spawned on the ramp even if no one has chosen it. So you have a visual of what's available. Is this possible?

You could create some "uncontrolled" AI units, and place and flyable unit right over them.

Then use an event hanlder to remove the AI unit when a player enters the unit.

It might be a bit cumbersome, but it's certainly possible.
