Emmy
For newbies (like me :)): What is the difference between this one and the standard KC-135? Baskets reeled out from pods on each wing instead of just one reeled out from the boom (which currently doesn’t work correctly) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] http://www.476vfightergroup.com/content.php High Quality Aviation Photography For Personal Enjoyment And Editorial Use. www.crosswindimages.com

Jester986
So could we tank 3 birds off this? Two probe and drogue off the wings and a boom in the middle?

Jester986
Not until they get the basket to work on the center boom. I meant a standard boom. Like two Harriers and a F-15.

ChuckJäger
We need someone to make a Nimrod or KC707 KC707? You mean the KC135. That's what is coming.. joey45
The Nimrod wasn't a tanker. You mean the Victor or Tristar.... The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Mig Fulcrum
KC707? You mean the KC135. That's what is coming.. KC707 is another plane, i mean, it is a B707 just like KC135 but it has the older engines and i think it can refuel only two aircraft and only with baskets. jojo
KC707 is another plane, i mean, it is a B707 just like KC135 but it has the older engines and i think it can refuel only two aircraft and only with baskets. KC-135 were developped from B707 but built as tanker. Some B707 were converted as KC707 tanker. KC-135 used J57 and JT3D engine, most were converted with CFM56 (more thrust, lower consumption) Edited December 12, 2018 by jojo Mirage fanatic !
