Hi Cubanace, I think that the Kh-59's naval variants in the latest phase do not fly that high, but low, like most of the cruiser missiles, in order to avoid be detected from far distance, that's why it's activate only 10km far from the target, allowing to the launcher to receive the camera image and select the target if is necessary!

This is not your typical low altitude antiship like seen on the viggen missile,the KH-59MK2 is a cruise missile made to attack multiple types of targets and fired from medium to high altitude in its current testings over Syria.

 

More research is being made to tune the FM more of course as soon as I can get more information.

I agree, but I'm talking in the approach phase, a high flight profile it's easy to shoot down by any Naval air defence.

I am happy to show more improvements in the external model it self.

 

I added more detail to the front canopy windshield and hud color effect, it adds realism and improves the overall look of the SU-57,below are screenshots and one real pic.

Assets

 

In order to improve the experience of the Su-57 Mod il be making Assets related to the Su-57 for years to come,this way the mod will continue to evolve.

Naval operations will soon be back online.

WIP as usual,everything related to the SU-57 is work in progress.

:thumbup: Ehi, Cubanace... guess what?

 

Apart from the congratulations - as it's due - I have noticed that you put among the Red fleet units two subs. They should be those diesel electric 'Granay' class, named by NATO as 'Kilo'. Am I right?

This is a very nice, and wise touch, because it's more than probable that the Russian Navy copied U.S. Navy's doctrine, stating that a carrier naval formation must be escorted by two attack subs - nuclear ones, in U.S. case, but nothing denied that Russia can think their own matters differently.

A big 'thumbs up' for this too, dear mate!

This told, let me say that I'd like to see something different in the cockpit 'structure', but I realize that it's not as simple to do it as it's to speak about.

So... release all of them ASAP, just can't await!

Next update is ready.

 

 

Improved the cockpit overall modeling and got rid of low poly blocky look specially top railing.

 

Added improved night lighting to the cockpit.

 

Flight model improved

 

Added Arresting Hook 3d model and animation.

 

2 New skins.

 

RWR new shapes and design, mostly Wip.

Never had so much fun with hunting ships!

One Question: How to open bay doors?

 

Oh dam I'm pretty sure I forgot to set the correct Arg # I will reupload another build so that by pressing left control R bay doors and refueling probe animate.

 

 

Untill I add a custom key binding and external animation.

Custom systems

 

Hello community and friends I have good news in regards our SU-57.

 

First I would like to thank all those that had guided me thru this journey and thanks to you guys I continue to push my self and learn new things .

 

 

Custom systems are now detected in our SU-57 module this is a first step into adding the Su-57 Unique Abilities also everything works while the custom systems are added,Radar navigation everything is working so we don't loose anything by adding custom systems.

 

Look at top right hand corner in the below picture :D
