1. damage model (for both planes and ground units)
2. contacts visibility
3. faster bugs repair
4. Placeable field airfields with spawn positions
5. new planes (for now P-47 and Fw 190A-8 at least)
6. "realistic" surface behavior (to be able perform skip bombing)
7. WWII era radio equipment (radars, navigation beacons and ATC)

then whatever you want, but nothing is more important than these seven for me in this order

1. Optimizes the Normandy Map. Performance issues are keeping people from playing the map.

2. Were are the Mulberry Harbors? Were are the flooded fields. Even if they were drained after D-day, there would be large dead zones.

3.When trees die, they should show up for France not USA. Trees should have less hitpoints.

4. Can we get tank guns to fire correct ammo. We now have Bren guns firing Mauser rounds and Browning .30cal MG firing British .303.

5. The STUG IV is useless because the AI will not turn the vehicle to bring the guns to bare.

Please limit your choices to yesterday's list for this poll. We can have others later.

Default Normandy and WWII objects poll result

Although the response cohort was small, I have now assessed as best I can the results of the poll for our ten most desired improvements in Normandy and WWII related matters. These 10 items are not rated in priority, but are based on how many respondents saw them as desireable and to what degree:-

Placeable short dirt airstrips with spawn points, and more associated objects (e.g. crates, drums, personnel, camo netting)
A.I. unrealistic behaviour and skill settings to be corrected
Working Allied and Axis radar, (e.g. Wurzburg , Freya. ) including ship borne.
Player driveable Jeeps
Player controlled watchtowers (Allied and Axis)
At least one each Allied and Axis twin engined bomber ( e.g. Mosquito, Ju-88 ) player- flyable
Allied and Axis WWII artillery units ( e.g. U.S. 105 or 155 mm, British 25 pounder, German 10.5mm)
A.I. Allied and Axis twin engined aircraft ( e.g. Ju 88, B-25 Mitchell, B-26 Marauder, Douglas A-20)
Combined Arms player driveable Allied and Axis tanks.
Option for Iron Bomb delayed detonation
Thanks to all who contributed.

Churches.
I have been looking around, but didn't find a single church in any village.

But what I do see are some roads (for cars) that are connected over a river by a railroadbridge. Very sloppy.

You sure? Haven't search for them lately buy I remember screenshots with several building models for the map and there were churches.

Maybe you looked here
There is one monastery (with a square in the middle), but no churches.

The IMHO most iconic church in Normandy, at least from the American perspective, is Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption de Sainte-Mère-Église... and it's not to be found

There are many landmarks which appear to be simply painted over with process generated landscape, like the infamous Omaha beach. There are so many photos out there, including pre-invasion, showing the beaches, but you'll not recognize them on the map.

I went to Sainte-Mère-Église (using the mission editor) and finally found a church, but is is very small and low. A mini church I would call it.
