The laser burns the inscriptions in the laminate and then cuts openings and parts. On aluminum I only draw the shape of a laser and then cut the holes manually.

One of the panels for example. Aluminum, spacing frame, milk plexi (diffused backlight), engraved engraving laminate. I use a standard "tact switch", the height I choose for the panel, and the way the backlight.

ILS to landing approach, TACAN to the cursor on the radio lantern (airport, tank). Shows the needle on the HSI.

Connecting to Arduino, I can hardly explain. In principle, it all depends on how you write a batch file to the Arduino. Connect the cables to the appropriate connectors as programmed in the batch file.

 

 

Excuse me, but I will not teach you all about the Arduino and DCS-Bios in a few sentences, especially that my English is rather stingy. You can learn everything from the DCS-Bios site. I can always upload my batch file to Arduino.
