I have asked him, but no replies.
Such a chaos with the sounds of the A-10.
They are literally scattered in many directories, not like other aircrafts.

The aircraft is stationary on the ground and High speed in the air,the sound is the same.
Rumbling noise always the same as long as engine is running.
This seem incorrect.

This should be incorrect.
I completely agree that the sound is incorrect,
but the sound on the ground and High speed in the air IS NOT the same,
it is just the opposite as it should be, see my explanation below.

The two files responsible for the annoying, far too loud, rumble noise are these:
A10InHeAmbL.wav
A10InHeAmbR.wav
Found in \Sounds\Effects\Aircrafts\Engines.

I just reduced the volume of these with a wave editor, so that's fixed.

But the biggest problem is the turbine sound wich INEXPLICABLY gets QUIETER with more throttle / speed, instead of LOUDER as it should be, and as it is in all other DCSaircrafts.

The sound of the A-10 has been good for literally YEARS now.
ED why are you making it much worse now?

They directly said it's going to be fixed, why are you still whining, you like copy pasted same posts over and over. All you need to do is to present your case why you feel it's wrong and how you think it should be, that can be done in one post.

There's probably some changes that got in due to prepwork on the A-10 update, or, some general update that encompased the sounds but wasn't compatible with these specific sounds. However if the change is realistically correct, I guess not much we can do about it, similarly as with the F/A-18C WW2 Propellor in F2 view in certain circumstances.

I mean rumbling noise is same.
Wind sound changes with speed, rumbling noise does not.
Similarly, turbine sound changes with the throttle, rumbling noise does not change with the throttle.

Well, you are wrong there, there is much one can do about it, as I did eliminating that rumbling noise. And I am very much whining, yes, the sound of the glorious A-10 was nearly perfect, and they have messed it up.

That rumbling noise is easily corrected, as I have posted before.
The wrong turbine noise is more difficult, but I'm on it.

Sure, but I think we all see what the filenames are from the first post.

Yes, fixing manually it's all good and healthy for the community, nothing against that, just why the drama if it looks like it wasn't intentional, or was it?

.
Just to interject a little something on that subject, the post you're referring to was made on 4-8-19 and said "in the next update". There have been a few "next updates" since then, and the sound issue remains. Much like "whining" can be done with one post, so can one's disagreement with the subject of said "whining". ED has acknowledged that the sound is incorrect, and said they were fixing it in the "next update" in a post more than a month ago. The OP is pointing out that it hasn't been fixed. Not sure why its a problem for him to do that. Anyway, any time any of us don't like the topic of a discussion, we all have the option of not reading it and/or participating in it. Just sayin'.
