Hello all.

Working on a new all-maps-Kneeboard based on Helios, i create this new set of Normandy Aerodromes charts, with frequencies, coordinates, and other usefull info.

 

As always is a pleasure for me to share with you my work. Hope you like it !

Thanks a lot, they are very well done ... I placed them on the path /Program files/Eagle Dynamics/DCS/Mods/Terrain/Normandy/Kneeboard so they show up whenever I fly on Normandy, like this:

I placed them there using a Mod Manager, just in case I need to run vanilla DCS every once on a while :)

What dioes the HF frequency stand for and does anyone if we can use ILS on any of those airfields?

 

HF stands for "High Frequency", as in DCS there are aircraft from several communication eras the ATC have four radios to communicate with different aircrafts:

 

HF

FuG (mixed: high-band HF/low-band VHF)

VHF

UHF

 

Normandy has no navigation aids, as it is a Map dated on the 1940s ... there is a Mod that adds some historical navaids, but I'm not sure if it is compatible with the current DCS 2.5.6:
