DCS BETA Question

Hi

I'm only running the regular release version of DCS World but want to try the BETA version. If I download the BETA version do I double the space needed by DCS World for regular/beta or does one version replace the other? I'm trying to to save SSD space and do not want to double DCS disk capacity.

Also, if both are installed how do you switch between the two versions? (depending on above answer)

Thinking about running BETA from now on?

Thanks!

Beta and stable are separate installations. One does not interfere with the other. If you are going to install beta. It will copy most of the files from the stable version (if you have the stable installed). The Beta is nothing more than the updated stable. I only use beta. : thumbup::espertinho:: pilotfly:

I highly recommend Skatezilla's GUI utility for all things regarding DCS maintenance-including changing stable to beta or vice-versa .

You can only join online servers that host the same version number though.. So your beta usually will only let you see beta servers, not the stable servers. If you have a friend on the stable version you may not be able to fly together.
