Bouncing on Grass

Hi

The Helo starts to bounce on Grass. It is not possible to land precise and smooth. It bounces pretty harsh from a horizontal level to a 10 - 15° Bank at liftoff, as soon as the helo is light on the wheels.

any others have this issue?

i remember a thread, where a similar issue where disscused about the frontwheel. now it seems its worser than before?

Wheel friction was adjusted in 1.2.7 (notice the helicopter doesn't yaw as much when you increase correction on startup). Maybe it also made the bouncing worse?

maybe. I will try it tonight without the wheelbrakes activated.

I'm also having problem with bouncing on the grass. That's why I'm not playing the campaign

Also sometimes on paved runway I have some jerky camera movement in cockpit, when I touch the collective. But only in the wind and when I'm facing certain direction. You will see it at first takeoff.

Some excessive bouncing after second landing on the grass. But it's not as pronounced as it can be, when sometimes the rear wheel on one side shoots up and it's hard to regain control.

127.trk it is, bobbing yeah I do recall some thing like that but with all the fixes and 128 I forgot about it.

This was recorded in 1.2.7, but in 1.2.8 beta I have the same issues, just with insane fps drop (but it doesn't stutter, so I can enjoy new goodies).

Seems like latest update (DCS 1.2.8.27125 Open Beta RC3) fixed it.

I've made quite a few landings, and there was no bouncing. Nice!
