Mig Fulcrum
As the title says, it's pretty annoying to adjust every time the view because i find it's too low, these screenshots show the default POV and a zoom to show better what's pointing, then there is my suggestion, this can also reduce the "bubble" feeling of the cockpit frame. It's a very little change that can help a lot so please, can you do it?
Rudel_chw
You can customize your neutral position, and save it so you dont need to do it again next time. Customising the Default View: 1. Press Num5 to reset your view to the current default. 2. Adjust your view to what you want as the new default but do not use any snap view keys in the process! 3. Press RALT+Num0 - your new default view should now be saved. Test it by changing your view, then pressing Num5 - your view should return to your customised default! Disable/Pause your Track-IR/Head-tracker while doing it ! The view settings should be saved on /saved games/dcs/config/view/SnapViews.lua ... on Windows File Explorer check rhe modification date for this file .. if it is the current date, then DCS is actually modifying it. Just tried it on my DCS, and the procedure does work. BuzzU
It has today's date but my view stays the same. All i'm trying to do is have my default view zoomed in a little. So, i'm sitting in the cockpit. I zoom in a little to where I like it. I then click RALT+Num0. It will stay there as long as I stay in the cockpit. If I go back to the main page and then back to the cockpit my view is zoomed back out. What did I do wrong? btw..Trackir isn't turned on for this. BuzzU
Yes. It's ok. I have zoom in and out on buttons, so it just takes a second to zoom where I want it. I thought it would be nice to lock it in but it's no big deal. Edited October 6, 2018 by BuzzU Buzz
