I am. It's a very very slow period at work. Ya gotta admit, a Laobi narrated DCS preview video would be entertaining!

 

 

He's hilarious, but the commentary on early access in the F-16 first look video should be required viewing, and anyone who buys an early access module should be forced to sign the transcript as a waiver of whining.

 

 

Seriously, the whining is annoying. There's a reason I never had any kids.

BTW I'm missing something I wanted to read... as a reaction to the 2020 and beyond video there was a thread with speculations on what the next announced plane could be. Last time I've seen that thread it was 12 pages, but now it went completely AWOL: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=262557&page=12

 

Has it been merged to somewhere I can't find or did I just poke the Hornet's nest by asking now? icon_redface.gif

ED said "early February", so don't expect the OB update to hit - along with 2.5.6 - until Feb 14 if everything goes well. If it happens sooner, that's great. If not, that's okay as well. :thumbup:

Over the last few weeks, we have been hard at work preparing the next big update to DCS World: version 2.5.6. This update will bring a number of highly anticipated things one of which we can share with you now;

 

The DCS: Black Shark 2, Ka-50 free cockpit update. This is a completely rebuilt Ka-50 cockpit with new, high-resolution geometry and textures. It will also take advantage of new lighting and materials.

This is really a Great Gift. Thanks to all ED team!

Great news about the Ka-50! is the new cockpit going to come with revised bindings so our switches work properly?

They said something about brains melting, so I'm sticking with the Boulton Paul Defiant until proven otherwise.

 

 

You have to admit there would be a meltdown if that's the eagerly awaited aircraft...
