Ships Captain, "Gentlemen, Come to order please. and take your seats. This is commander Harris who will brief you on the mission." "Good evening. Last night, one of our satellites detected a very large heat source, emanating from a area in the Pacific where there was nothing before. It has the signature of a new active volcano. However, a visual confirmation is not possible due to heavy fog and storms Forecast to continue for another few weeks. No satellite images are possible. As we we are the closest ship, We have been ordered to recon the source and acquire images and gather data. No landing should be attempted there. This is a recon mission only. You may choose the air frame in which you are proficient for this mission. There is rain and fog with gusting winds detected by the ships sensors so be careful out there! I have included a mission with a single carrier, approaching the Island. You may use the aircraft of your choice. I have tried to give this island a collision shell, but, I do not think it works....... Consider this for "Eye Candy" only. I suggest lots of rain and fog for atmosphere! -------------------------------------- A short note about this mod, I had created this mod mouths ago and just recently began to practice animation on it. It became my "learning mod" As such, the animations are crude, but effective! I decided to release it now to coincide with the new "Lost World" movie. Also note, As I worked on it, The mod began to grow....and grow....and grow in size. The edm tops out over 300mb! Because of this, Using this mod may cause frame rate loss and slow downs on all but the fastest pc. YMMV I hope you have at least SOME fun with it! --------------------------------- Oh, and @Backy 51.......I am back on the yellow pills! Or is it the blue ones............ I copied it in Saved Games\DCS\Mods\Tech How do I add this to a mission?
