Tholozor
Original thread here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3689030 What originally started as a small fix to prevent the JTAC from getting hung on "ready to copy remarks" with SA-2 or Rapier SAMs nearby has turned into another kind of project altogether. Small quality-of-life improvements for the Player/JTAC interaction to resolve issues, primarily focusing on missing voice lines and improper reporting, and also script changes to make the JTAC more viable for more aircraft. All added voice lines are splices of the original JTAC audio (e.g. the voice line for SA-2 is a combination splice of the lines for SA-3 and the number 2 in the Digits folder) all credit for original audio goes to Eagle Dynamics. I haven't noticed any issues with IC, but please let me know if anyone encounters any problems in multiplayer or any other aspect of the mod. Install with JSGME or OvGME. CHANGELOG: v1.0 - JTAC no longer hangs when the player reports "ready to copy remarks" when SA-2 or Rapier SAM systems are detected threats (fixed in 2.5.4) - Added SA-2 voice line for JTAC - Player properly reports in as "F/A-18" while flying the Hornet (fixed in 2.5.4) v1.1 - Added voice line for Player and JTAC for AGM-65F (reports as "AGM-65 Foxtrot") v1.2 - Added Lat/Long coordinates to the JTAC call-out (merged from https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3300536/ all credit goes to sunski34 for the original code, and YoYo for porting it to 2.5 format) v1.3 - Added decimal-minutes to the end of the DMS coordinate display for the JTAC and Player v1.4 - Separated coordinate formats into different mods (DMS, DDM, and Mix) - DMS adds Lat/Long coordinates after MGRS in Degree/Minute/Second format - DDM adds Lat/Long coordinates after MGRS in Degree/Decimal-Minute format - Mix adds Lat/Long coordinates after MGRS in Degree/Minute/Second format followed by the equivalent Decimal-Minutes in parenthesis v1.5 - Added voice lines for JTAC and Player for GBU-16 and CBU-99 - JTAC and Player now properly report GBU-16, CBU-99, and Mk-20 instead of as "bombs" v1.6 - Updated to work with 2.5.5 - JTAC and Player now properly report AGM-154A and -154C as "JSOW" - Updated code for precise coordinates for DMS and DDM (DD°MM'SS.xx" and DD°MM.xxxx') - Removed Mix version (too many digits with precise coordinates to do both without being annoying) JTAC Audio Enhancement v1.6.rar Edited July 9, 2019 by Tholozor REAPER 51 | Tholozor VFA-136 (c.2007): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3305981/ Arleigh Burke Destroyer Pack (2020): https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313752/

Tholozor
No problem, basically what the mod does primarily is that it adds missing voices lines for the JTAC and Player communications. Some weapons and air defenses don't have voice lines for them, or aren't configured properly to use the correct voice lines, so this mod aims to correct some of that (within reason). The mod also adds Lat/Long coordinate format for the JTAC so that aircraft that currently can't input MGRS coordinates (e.g. Hornet, Mirage, Harrier) are able to get target locations without having to convert it outside of DCS. The mod originally started out as a fix after ED introduced the SA-2 and Rapier SAM systems, which caused the JTAC script to get stuck at a certain point because it was trying to call out units that the script did not have a definition for (ED fixed that problem pretty quickly). RightStuff
This useful mod deserves more attention - until ED fixes this issue officially. Rated 5 stars. :)

Tholozor
Use JSGME or OvGME. The code hasn't been updated for the new 2.5.5 version with the incoming carrier comms code, so I'll need to merge it back in.
