Why Tatooine of course... gotta start in the desert...
Yeah, and with Nevada and SoH the basics are already in the game.

If they bring Hoth and hopefully AT-AT and AT-ST walkers, can they be controlled with CA?

speaking ot the death star and planets, we had massive FPS drops in the past when clusterbombs were droped, will the explosion of a planet after beeing attacked by the death star result in similiar FPS drops? what will be the optimum PC setup to run such a scene in constant 120FPS with VR?

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the GeForce 1080.

As lead developer let me explain something..

As all you knows release was cancelled.

But there are was some reasons for that.

Database with X-Wing`s blue prints, code FM and so one was destroyed by Empire , but all information was copied and saved to Scarif database. But as everyone saw Death Star destroyed everything...

Now we`are waiting confirmation from rebels, maybe X-wing documentation was copied together with Death Star plans during Scarif battle...

Confirmed. Some early builds are saved.

May the Force be with Jyn Erso!

I'm anxious to go A2A against the X-Wing. Wondering what's the best way to crack this nut, if I'm flying the MiG-21.

So you get the Bogey Dope, a baddie coming in Hot, 30 klicks out. (Assume the X-Wing is below 8,000M). SAPFIR have a chance to scan and pick it up? I assume so. Figure the X-Wing has to fly at reduced speeds because of the air friction, and ACM for it are probably limited as well. (G-forces being what they are for every pilot on Earth).

As we close towards the merge, launch a pair of R-3R's to get him to break? And then try for quick R-60 up it's keister, before diving away into the Mountains and clutter?

Or is the better play to go with a "bait and lure" into a prepared S-400 ambush?

Shields could prevent air friction, and if not, shouldn't it be designed for the friction of re-entry?

my New Hope is that the FM is much improved over the FM used in Battlefront i & ii. :music_whistling:

Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment.

Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above.

Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic.

Actually even a SU-27 or F-22 would be interesting against the X-Wing.

G-Forces are acceleration and mass dependent, earth is just a tiny factor.

AFAIK the Star Wars tech has gravitation generators/dampeners to handle that.

Deflector-shields will be hard to come by with AA-Missiles, maybe a couple larger SAMs in close succession...

I would vote for a Death Star map with area specific turbo-laser turrets for AAA. :smartass:

Hopefully the hyperspace model is accurate. I’ve always suspected the Falcon wasn’t the only ship capable of a sub-12 parsec Kessel Run.

In order to reproduce hyperspace they would use a worm hole acceleration to vanishing point followed by worm hole destination and then worm hole deceleration. If one had such technology....BTW forget the stuff in the middle, its like a battlemech with heaters in the cockpit to reproduce overheating, lets just sit there and watch smoke lol.
